CLUTCHMASTERS FX725 Twin Disc Clutch Kit – Honda K20/K24 (K-Series)

The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch kit designed for high-powered drag racing applications using smaller bell-housings. Developed from decades of racing experience, this clutch offers minimal rotational mass and exceptional torque holding capacity. While not intended for daily use, improvements in friction materials allow for occasional street driving.

The FX725 features a billet aluminium cover that’s Type 3 hard anodised. This provides around 25% more tensile strength than cast alternatives. With only 0.003" of flex—compared to 0.030" in stamped covers—the FX725 delivers more consistent engagement, superior clamping force, and maximised power transfer without loss through flex.

Unique to Clutch Masters is the QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate), using three spring-loaded bolts for even engagement and reduced internal clutch noise/chatter by up to 50%. This system ensures smooth street operation while maintaining racing performance standards.

Flywheels are application-specific and available in billet 6061-T6 aluminium or 1045 billet steel. Aluminium flywheels are SFI spec 1.2 approved and include a replaceable insert. Steel flywheels are black oxide treated for corrosion resistance.

• “Street and Race” (TD7S) – 1 ceramic rigid disc + 1 fibre tuff rigid disc
• “Race” (TD7R) – 2 ceramic rigid discs
