AWE Performance Crossover Pipes – Porsche 911 Carrera (997.2)

AWE Performance Crossover Pipes replace the centre rear muffler on the 2009-on 997.2 Porsche 911. The factory muffler forces exhaust gas through a tight U-turn and back out the same side; these pipes remove it from the system for a smoother, straighter path. AWE measured gains of 4 kW (5 hp) and 7 Nm (5 lb-ft) at the crank with a weight saving of 2.9 kg (6.5 lb), and the exhaust note becomes a little more aggressive. They suit owners who want to delete the muffler without the small power loss AWE found with an X-pipe.

Note: A direct replacement for the factory centre rear muffler on 997.2 Carrera models, bolting in with no cutting. Installation by a professional is recommended.
