AWE Track Edition Exhaust – Volkswagen Golf R (Mk8)

The AWE Track Edition is a cat-back exhaust for the Volkswagen Golf R (Mk8) and AWE's loudest option for the car. It shares the Touring Edition's 76mm (3") inlet, resonated mid pipe and stamped merge into dual 64mm (2.5") rear pipes, but swaps the rear 180 Technology® resonators for straight stainless pipe. It is lighter and louder, with more presence on the highway. It is non-valved. AWE measured up to 3 kW (4 hp) and 1 Nm (1 ft-lb) at the wheels on an otherwise stock car.

Choose Chrome Silver or Diamond Black for the quad 114mm (4.5") double-walled, slash-cut tips. The finish is the only difference between the two part numbers.

Note: A slip-fit inlet adapter suits the factory downpipe and leaves an open 76mm (3") connection. Electronic valve simulators are included to plug into the factory valve wiring. AWE warns this version may be too loud for some drivers. A Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit is available if you later want it quieter. Installation by a professional is recommended.
