AWE Track Edition Exhaust – Volkswagen Golf R (Mk7.5)

The AWE Track Edition is AWE's loudest cat-back for the Mk7.5 Golf R. It removes the passenger-side valve and the driver-side muffler, so the exhaust behaves as if the valves are always open, with unfiltered sound at all times. It is built from CNC mandrel-bent 76mm (3") and 64mm (2.5") T304L stainless steel. AWE measured up to 8.9 kW (12 hp) and 12.2 Nm (9 ft-lb) at the wheels with its full turbo-back setup on stock software.

Choose chrome silver or diamond black tips. Both are double-walled, carry the AWE logo and are the same size; the only difference is the finish. The system runs quad 102mm (4") slash-cut tips.

Note: The factory valves are removed, and the supplied valve harness plugs go into the factory harness. AWE notes that removing the valves may store soft codes, which it describes as harmless. Track Edition is very loud. An AWE conversion kit can turn it into a SwitchPath system later. Installation by a professional is recommended.
