AWE Track Edition Exhaust – Audi S3 (8Y)

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust is a cat-back for the 2.0L turbo Audi 8Y S3 sedan and Sportback, and the louder of AWE's two S3 systems. It shares the Touring Edition's 76mm (3") resonated mid pipe and stamped merge into dual 64mm (2.5") rear pipes, but swaps the rear 180 Technology resonators for straight stainless sections. That makes it lighter at 17.2 kg (38 lb) and noticeably louder on the highway – AWE warns it may be too much for some drivers. It is not valved. AWE measured gains of up to 5 kW (7 hp) and 3 Nm (2 lb-ft) at the wheels.

Chrome Silver and Diamond Black are the same Track Edition system with four 114mm (4.5") double-walled slash-cut tips in that finish.

Note: A slip-fit inlet adapter joins it to the factory downpipe while leaving an open 76mm (3") connection for later upgrades. Electronic valve simulators are included to plug into the factory valve wiring so the car runs without fault codes. A Track-to-Touring conversion kit is available if you want it quieter later. Installation by a professional is recommended.
