AWE Touring Edition Exhaust – Honda Civic Type R (FL5)

The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust is a full 76mm (3") cat-back for the 2.0L turbo Honda Civic Type R (FL5), and the quieter of AWE's two FL5 systems. An integrated front pipe with its own flange and gasket keeps the full 76mm (3") diameter from inlet to outlet, followed by a resonated mid pipe and an FL5-specific AWE 180 Technology resonator at the rear to cancel highway drone. It gives a deep note with straight-pipe flow and a quiet cabin at cruise. AWE measured gains of up to 10 kW (14 hp) and 18 Nm (13 lb-ft) at the wheels with the stock downpipe, and it weighs 20.9 kg (46 lb) against 22.9 kg (50.5 lb) for stock.

All versions are the same Touring Edition system with a stamped stainless trident merge and three 114mm (4.5") double-walled slash-cut tips. Choose Chrome Silver for a polished finish, Diamond Black for a dark finish or Vapor Blue for a blue finish. Vapor Blue is a more delicate finish, so wash it with mild soap only and avoid harsh cleaners or tip polish.

Note: Developed for use with or without an aftermarket catted downpipe. The integrated front pipe is not designed to mate with other aftermarket front pipes. No engine mount removal is needed. A Touring-to-Track conversion kit is available if you want more volume later. Installation by a professional is recommended.
