AWE Touring Edition Exhaust – Audi S3 (8Y)

The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust is a cat-back for the 2.0L turbo Audi 8Y S3 sedan and Sportback, and the quieter of AWE's two S3 systems. A 76mm (3") resonated mid pipe flows into a stamped stainless merge that splits into dual 64mm (2.5") rear pipes, finishing in AWE's patented 180 Technology resonators. These have no packing to break down and a straight-through core, cancelling drone so the car is comfortable on the highway with a deep, constant note. It is not valved – straight-through all the time. AWE measured gains of up to 5 kW (7 hp) and 3 Nm (2 lb-ft) at the wheels.

AWE Track Edition vs Touring Edition – the difference explained

Both versions are the same Touring Edition system with four 114mm (4.5") double-walled slash-cut tips. Choose Chrome Silver for a polished finish or Diamond Black for a dark finish.

Note: A slip-fit inlet adapter joins it to the factory downpipe while leaving an open 76mm (3") connection for later upgrades. Electronic valve simulators are included to plug into the factory valve wiring so the car runs without fault codes. A Touring-to-Track conversion kit is available if you want more volume later. Installation by a professional is recommended.
