aFe Track Series Carbon Fibre Cold Air Intake - Toyota GR Supra (A90) / BMW Z4 M40i (G29) - 3.0L Turbo B58
The aFe Track Series Carbon Fibre Cold Air Intake suits the BMW Z4 M40i (G29) with the 3.0L turbo B58. The intake tube is 100% twill weave carbon fibre with no fibreglass, finished in clear coat, and it is both light and resistant to heat.
A 7in (178mm) tall radial flow filter on a 4in (102mm) flange sits in an open-element XLPE housing that keeps warm engine air away while showing off the filter and adding induction sound. The kit fits with the factory strut brace and the aFe CONTROL strut bar. aFe's dyno testing shows up to +19 kW (+26 hp) and +37 Nm with Pro 5R (53% more flow) and up to +17 kW (+23 hp) and +30 Nm with Pro DRY S (42% more flow).
Options: Pro DRY S is a dry, oil-free three-layer synthetic media that washes with soap and water. Pro 5R is an oiled, five-layer cotton gauze media for the most airflow.
Note: aFe lists this kit for the 3.0L B58 BMW Z4 M40i (G29). Fits cars with the factory strut brace, with no modification. Installation by a professional is recommended.
