The AEM 5 BAR MAP Sensor Kit (75 PSIg) delivers precise gauge pressure readings for high-performance applications including fuel, oil, brake, and nitrous systems. Built with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel body and engineered for accuracy within 1% of full scale, this sensor is designed for motorsport and tuning environments where reliable pressure data is critical.

What is PSIg?
This sensor measures gauge pressure (PSIg), meaning it references atmospheric pressure as zero. It will read 0 PSIg at sea level with no applied pressure, making it ideal for monitoring systems that do not require vacuum measurement. Common use cases include fuel pressure, oil pressure, brake line pressure, and nitrous bottle pressure.

Key Features

  • Pressure Rating: 75 PSIg / 5 BAR (gauge pressure)

  • Construction: Stainless steel body with 360° welded wetted area

  • Accuracy: ±1% of full scale for high-resolution data

  • Thread: 1/8" NPT male fitting

  • Adapters Included: -4AN and 3/16" barbed fitting for flexible installation

  • Electronics: Weather-resistant connector and terminal pins included

  • Output: Analog signal scaled for use with ECUs, data loggers, or digital displays

Applications

  • Fuel pressure sensors for EFI and race setups

  • Engine oil pressure logging

  • Brake pressure monitoring in competition vehicles

  • Nitrous system pressure feedback

  • Compatible with standalone ECUs and digital dashboards

Stainless vs Brass – Know the Use Case

  • Brass Sensor = Ruler – Use for basic monitoring or gauge reference

  • Stainless Sensor = Caliper – Use for tuning, ECU input, and critical data accuracy
