Choosing the Right Part
- Chassis code: most parts are vehicle-specific and listed by chassis code. Examples include Subaru WRX (VA/VB), WRX STI (GDB/GRB/GVB/VAB), Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5), Toyota 86 (ZN6) and Ford Focus ST (LW/LZ). Match the code to your car before ordering.
- Gearbox type: many Subaru parts are specific to either the 5-speed or 6-speed manual. Some are marked for 5-speed manual use only, so confirm which gearbox your car has.
- Shifter type: some PERRIN Super Shifter Stop versions suit the factory shifter, while another requires an STI short shifter. Choose the version that matches your setup.
- Thread size: universal items such as the Hybrid Racing Maxim shift boot collar are listed by thread size (M10x1.5). Check this matches your shifter.
