Fuel Line Kits

Fuel Line Kits

Fuel Line Kits take the guesswork out of plumbing a fuel system, giving you matched hose, fittings and adapters in one part number. Our range covers direct-fit kits for popular platforms as well as universal hose and fitting kits for custom work. We stock brands that build to proper motorsport standards, because fuel plumbing is the last place to save a few dollars.

Shop by Vehicle

Vehicle-specific kits are available across common performance platforms, including Subaru WRX and STI, Nissan Skyline GT-R and Silvia, Toyota Supra and GR86 / BRZ, Mitsubishi Evo, Mazda RX-7 and MX-5, and Honda Civic and S2000. Kits are also offered for VAG turbo platforms such as Golf R and S3. Universal hose and fitting kits suit anything not covered by a direct-fit option. Use the product filters to narrow the range to your car, and check the listing for the exact model and year coverage.

Why these Fuel Line Kits

The main decision is hose liner. PTFE-lined hose is the safe choice for ethanol blends and long-term storage: it will not permeate, it does not swell, and it holds up to fuel that sits in the car for weeks. Rubber-lined braided hose is easier to route and assemble, and it is fine for pump petrol, but it can weep odour over time on E85.

Size matters just as much. A -6AN feed handles most mild turbo and supercharged builds, while big power on ethanol usually wants -8AN feed to keep pressure drop in check. Vehicle-specific kits are worth the extra over a box of parts because the hose lengths, bend radii and fitting angles are already worked out, which means fewer leak points and less chance of a line rubbing on a subframe.

We choose to carry kits from manufacturers who supply their own hose ends rather than mixing brands, since hose and fitting tolerances are not universal.

Fitment & Installation

Check the thread and size of your existing fuel rail, filter and regulator before ordering, as many AU-delivered cars use different OEM quick-connect sizes to their JDM or US equivalents. Some kits retain the factory quick-connects at one end, others convert everything to AN.

Most installers depressurise the fuel system, disconnect the battery and work with the car raised and supported before removing any lines. PTFE hose needs a proper cutting tool and, on some designs, an olive or collar fitted in the correct order. Owners report that the biggest time sink is routing and securing the line away from heat and moving suspension, so allow for extra P-clips and heat sleeve.

After assembly the system should be pressure tested and checked dry before the car is started. If the build is moving to ethanol, fuel pump, injectors and filter usually need to be upgraded at the same time.

FAQ

Do I need PTFE hose for E85?
It is the recommended choice. PTFE will not permeate or degrade with ethanol, and it handles fuel sitting in the lines between drives. Rubber-lined braided hose is better suited to pump petrol.

What size line do I need?
-6AN feed suits most street turbo builds on pump fuel. Higher power targets and ethanol setups generally step up to -8AN feed to limit pressure drop. Return lines are often one size smaller than the feed.

Will a kit include everything to finish the job?
Vehicle-specific kits usually include hose, ends and adapters for the covered section. Clamps, P-clips, heat sleeve and fuel-safe thread sealant are often needed on top. Check the listing for exactly what is supplied.

Can I reuse my factory quick-connect fittings?
Sometimes. Several kits are designed to retain one factory connection to simplify the install. Others convert to AN throughout, which needs matching adapters at the rail, filter and tank.

Do you ship Australia wide?
Yes, we ship across Australia, including regional areas. All products carry their manufacturer's warranty.
