The R35 GT-R has run two distinct factory brake packages across its production life:

Standard R35 (CBA / DBA — 2007–2016): Brembo-manufactured 6-piston front calipers with 380mm discs, 4-piston rear calipers with 380mm discs. DIXCEL offers the full compound range for both front and rear fitments.

NISMO / Track Edition: The NISMO and Track Edition models may use carbon-ceramic rotors as standard. DIXCEL pads are designed for iron rotors — if your GT-R has carbon-ceramic brakes, contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility.

The R35's factory rotors are large but can still suffer from thermal cracking under sustained track use. DIXCEL's SD (6-slot) and FS (slotted) rotors use high-carbon metallurgy with 20% better thermal crack resistance — a critical upgrade for GT-R owners who track their car regularly. The 6-slot pattern maintains consistent pad contact and prevents gas buildup at the pad interface during heavy braking. For street-only GT-Rs, the FP (plain) rotors offer the same high-carbon material advantage with a quieter, dust-free surface that pairs well with M Type pads for a clean wheel setup.
