This Radium Engineering dual catch can kit suits the supercharged Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (S197) and covers both the PCV and crankcase vent circuits (SKU 20-0329-FL). Each can uses Radium's patented Fluid Lock mechanism, which stops the reservoir overfilling and traps collected fluid until it is emptied, so contaminants cannot spill back into the intake if servicing is missed.

The PCV can runs inline with the PCV valve and keeps its factory function, catching vapour, unburnt fuel and sludge drawn in at idle, cruise and on deceleration. Because Radium cans are pressure sealed they are well suited to supercharged engines, so connecting to the intake manifold is fine. The crankcase vent can sits inline with the breather port and stops oil and sludge collecting in the air intake pipe under heavy load. The kit includes everything needed for a complete installation.

Note: There is no fixed emptying interval. Check the level with the integrated dipstick after 3-4 weeks of driving and adjust from there - PCV cans usually collect more than CCV cans. Excessive collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by, an overfilled sump or a PCV valve leaking under load. Installation by a professional is recommended.
