Nitto I-Beam Connecting Rods - GM LS V8 - Commodore (VT–VF) / HSV

A set of eight 6.125-inch I-beam connecting rods for GM LS V8 engines, including the LS1, LS2 and LS3 found in the VT to VF Commodore and HSV range. Nitto designed them around short ARP 2000 bolts so they clear the block in big-cam stroker engines, making them a good fit for high-power street, drag and circuit builds.

One version is listed: 6.125" (155.57 mm) long with a 0.927" pin end. Match them with pistons made for a 6.125" rod and 0.927" pin.

Every Nitto steel rod starts as double-melted 4340 billet, a cleaner material than the single-melt steel common in the aftermarket, and is forged as one piece for a consistent grain structure. Using 7/16" ARP 2000 bolts with a shorter 1.45" under-head length lets these rods clear large cams and stroker cranks without the block clearancing many similar rods need.

Note: Installation by a professional is recommended. Engine internals must be measured and set up by a qualified engine builder.

Nitto parts are built for racing and off-road use. Inspect every part during assembly and blueprinting, and contact us before fitting if anything measures outside tolerance.
