KOYORAD Intercooler Core - Universal - 450 x 131 x 60mm

This KOYORAD Hyper Core is a universal, all-aluminium intercooler core for building your own intercooler. It uses extruded tube-and-fin construction in a crossflow layout and comes as a bare core, ready for end tanks. The actual core size is 450 x 131.4 x 60mm (L x H x W), nominally 18 x 5 x 2.5in.

KOYORAD's rounded tube faces let more air pass through than the flat faces of a bar-and-plate core, which helps reduce heat soak, and the core is up to 50% lighter than a comparable bar-and-plate design. KOYORAD suggests this compact size for small custom turbo builds, such as the Honda Civic (EF, EG, EK), Toyota Corolla (AE86) and MR2 (AW11).

Note: Bare core only: end tanks, piping and mounting are not included and must be fabricated to suit. Installation by a professional is recommended.
