The factory splitter chokes the airflow to your top mount intercooler, and GrimmSpeed built this replacement to fix exactly that. Designed and CNC laser cut in house, it's engineered to direct far more ambient air from your scoop straight onto the core, giving your Subaru WRX/STI the cooling capacity a larger TMIC actually needs. This listing covers the Subaru WRX (GDA/GGA) and Subaru WRX STI (GDB) MY06-07 models fitted with either a GrimmSpeed or genuine STI top mount intercooler.

Note: Correct fitment depends on running a GrimmSpeed or OEM STI TMIC. Vehicles still using the standard WRX size intercooler will not see the full benefit of this splitter.
