GrimmSpeed High-Lift Hood Struts - Subaru BRZ (ZC6) / Toyota 86 (ZN6)
GrimmSpeed built these hood struts to replace the clunky factory hood prop with a proper gas strut system, developed in close collaboration with the FT86 owner community. Designed and tested specifically for the Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86, the kit opens the hood higher, holds it steady, and frees up both hands for engine bay work.
This listing covers the Subaru BRZ (ZC6) and Toyota 86 (ZN6), including equivalent Scion FR-S models sold locally as the Toyota 86. SKU GRM097001 includes the complete strut and bracket kit for direct fitment to these chassis.
