GrimmSpeed 4-Piston Brake Caliper Kit - Subaru WRX/STI

The stock single-piston caliper fitted to most Subaru platforms does the job on the daily commute, but it struggles once you start tracking the car or building for more aggressive driving. GrimmSpeed's 4-Piston Brake Caliper Kit (SKU GRM.1170.1.RED / GRM.1170.1.GRY) is a purpose-built fixed caliper upgrade for the Subaru WRX and Subaru STI, giving more even pad pressure, better heat management and a firmer, more consistent pedal without chasing down used Brembos or fabricating brackets.

This listing covers the Subaru WRX (2002-2021) and Subaru STI (2004-2021) fitted with a 340mm rotor, using the factory hub and rotor mounting points - no knuckle swaps or custom adapters needed. The kit is available in Red or Gunmetal Gray anodised caliper finishes, selectable via the variant options on this listing.

• Forged 6061-T6 aluminium two piece caliper body, hard anodised for strength and corrosion resistance
• Dual piston design - 44mm primary and 41mm secondary pistons for even pad pressure and reduced taper
• Type 3 hard anodised, vented pistons for improved thermal control
• Approximately 4.5 kg (9.9 lb) per corner including bracket and hardware
• Uses FMSI D968 (F40) brake pads for this application
• Compatible with commonly available Subaru OEM and STI 340mm rotors
• Works with factory brake lines - new lines may be recommended depending on the vehicle
