ARP Head Stud Kit - Toyota 4A-GE 16V - Corolla (AE86 / AE92) / MR2 (AW11)

This ARP head stud kit suits the 4A-GE 16V engine in the Toyota Corolla AE86 / MR2 AW11. It swaps the factory head bolts for studs, nuts and washers. The studs are wound into the block by hand and the head is clamped by torquing the nuts, which gives more even, repeatable clamping than factory stretch bolts and saves wear on the block threads each time the head comes off.

More clamping load helps the head gasket seal against high cylinder pressure, which is why head studs are one of the first parts fitted to a boosted or high-compression build.

Before you order: 16-valve 4A-GE only (not the 20-valve).
