ARP Head Stud Kit - Ford 5.0 Coyote - Mustang GT (S197 / S550) / Falcon (FG / FG X)

This ARP head stud kit suits the 5.0 Coyote V8 engine in the Ford Mustang GT and Falcon FG / FG X. It swaps the factory head bolts for studs, nuts and washers. The studs are wound into the block by hand and the head is clamped by torquing the nuts, which gives more even, repeatable clamping than factory stretch bolts and saves wear on the block threads each time the head comes off.

More clamping load helps the head gasket seal against high cylinder pressure, which is why head studs are one of the first parts fitted to a boosted or high-compression build.

Before you order: ARP publishes two instruction sheets for this kit (flat or stamped washers). Follow the one that matches the washers supplied.
