APR built this turbo inlet system to solve a simple problem: stock inlet piping restricts airflow right where the turbo needs it most. Fitted to the Audi A3, Audi A3 Quattro and Volkswagen Golf GTI, this system reworks the path from airbox to turbo with the largest practical diameter and smoothest possible geometry, cutting pressure drop and helping the turbo spool with less effort.

Specifications

• Inlet diameter starts at 80mm and steps up to 88mm for larger airbox setups
• Reworked internal geometry designed to minimise turbulence between airbox and turbo
• APR testing on the GTI application achieved around 90 percent of theoretical maximum flow for the inlet size
• Reduced flow restriction helps lower intake air temperature and eases load on the turbo
