It lets you upgrade the Audi A3, Audi A3 Quattro and Volkswagen Golf GTI from the standard GTI/A3 style intake system to the larger diameter Golf R/S3/Arteon style layout, opening the door to bigger turbo upgrades without sourcing a full replacement intake.

This listing covers the Audi A3, Audi A3 Quattro and Volkswagen Golf GTI (CD) running the standard CI100052 style intake back tube. The kit converts these to the CI100053 configuration, with a larger turbo inlet pipe and a diverter valve recirculation port built into the throttle side hose.

Important: This conversion is designed for vehicles fitted with the APR Continental turbo upgrade or other hybrid/direct replacement turbochargers that require a larger turbo inlet and DV recirculation. It is not needed on factory turbo setups.
