APR pioneered high pressure fuel pump upgrades on VAG direct injection engines and later became an OEM supplier of HPFP and GDI components for VAG race and project cars. This upgraded HPFP is built to increase available fuel volume, keeping fuel pressure stable in the Audi Q3 under sustained load or tuned conditions where the stock pump becomes a bottleneck.
