Radium Engineering RA-Series FPR Kit - Mazda MX-5 (NB)

The Radium Engineering RA-Series FPR kit (SKU 20-1022) adds an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to the Mazda MX-5 (NB), which runs a factory returnless fuel system. It works with the OEM fuel pump hanger or a Radium hanger and gives precise fuel pressure control for modified engines.

New Radium Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulators for 2023

The regulator mounts near the EVAP charcoal canister on factory threaded studs. The OEM feed line from the pump to the filter is reused unaltered, two new 6AN lines run to and from the regulator, and a stainless steel SAE quick connect plug blocks off the tee on the OEM feed line. The RA-series regulator has a double O-ring sealed vacuum reference port that swivels 360 degrees for easy, tool-free routing.

Note: Use the included vacuum plug to keep static fuel pressure like the OEM system, or a vacuum fitting for 1:1 rising rate; a medium-strength wicking threadlocker is recommended on the vacuum fitting. A quick drop in fuel pressure after shut-off is normal for aftermarket regulators. No cutting, drilling or permanent modifications are required. Installation by a professional is recommended.
