Radium Engineering Fuel Cells

• RA-Series fuel cells (FIA FT3), replacement cans and replacement bladders.
• Lids and fittings: dry carbon fibre lids, nut rings, weld flanges and gaskets.
• Filling and venting: remote mount fillers, swing valve fillers, dry break parts, roll-over valves and the Dynamic Safety Valve (DSV).
• Mounting: weld-in cage, mounting tab kit, spare tyre and saddle tank conversion kits.
• Fuel level senders, gauge mounts and block-off plates.

Check which standard your category calls for. RA-Series cells are FIA FT3 certified; some categories ask for a specific FIA or SFI standard.

Choose the cell size from the space you have and the fuel you need for a race. Measure the mounting area first.

Plan the fuel pickup. The FCST-X fuel cell surge tank puts a surge tank inside the cell.

Fuel cells need a secure, certified mount, a fire wall between the cell and the cabin, roll-over venting and a proper filler. Check the rules for your category and get the install signed off by your scrutineer. Installation by a professional is recommended.

What does FIA FT3 mean?
FT3 is the FIA standard for safety fuel cell bladders, covering material and construction for impact resistance.

Can I replace just the bladder?
Yes. Replacement RA-Series bladders and cans are listed separately.

Do I need a roll-over valve?
Most categories require roll-over protection on the vent line. Radium sells roll-over valves and a vent kit for this.
