Radium Engineering Coolant Tank (Firewall Mount) - Lotus Elise / Exige (2ZZ-GE)

This Radium Engineering remote-mount coolant header tank (SKU 20-0270-02) is designed for custom Lotus Elise and Exige builds, such as engine swaps and turbo kits, where the OEM expansion tank is no longer in a suitable location. It is essential with low-mounted radiators like a V-mount, where the header tank must be the highest point in the system for proper air bleeding.

The two-piece body is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium and bolted together with a billet cap receiver that accepts any standard 32mm Type-A pressure cap. Inside, a swirl chamber takes hot coolant from the cylinder head tangentially and spins it at high speed to help de-aerate the system.

Note: Pressure cap not included – the OEM Lotus cap is 1.1 bar, and optional Radium pressure caps are sold separately. For a tank that fits the OEM location, see Radium's OEM-location expansion tank kit. Installation by a professional is recommended.
