BMR Suspension
BMR Suspension designs and builds suspension and chassis parts in Florida, USA, for American muscle and performance cars. Its parts are made to cut deflection, wheel hop and unwanted chassis movement, using CNC-machined Delrin, billet aluminium and chromoly steel, and almost every part bolts in with the factory hardware. Chicane Australia stocks BMR Suspension parts for the Chevrolet Camaro (Gen 6).
Choosing the Right Part
- Wheel hop on a Camaro launch usually starts with the rear cradle moving in its soft factory bushings. A cradle lockout kit fills the voids in those bushings without replacing them, so noise and vibration stay close to standard.
- Pair the cradle lockout with spherical rear knuckle bushings and adjustable rear links to take the remaining flex out of the rear suspension.
- Check your model and year against the listing before ordering. BMR parts are model specific.
Installation & What You'll Need
Installation by a professional is recommended. BMR includes a step-by-step guide with each part, and it is linked on the listing.
- A hoist or jack and jack stands, and the sockets listed in the guide.
- New torque-to-yield bolts where GM specifies them, such as the Camaro's main cradle bolts.
- A wheel alignment after any suspension or cradle work.
FAQ
Will a cradle lockout kit make my Camaro noisier?
BMR found almost no change in noise or vibration on an otherwise standard car, because the factory bushings stay in place and only their voids are filled.
Do BMR parts need modification to fit?
No. BMR designs its parts to bolt on using the factory mounting points and hardware.
Where are BMR Suspension parts made?
BMR designs and builds its parts in the USA.
