Radium Engineering Coolant Tank Kit - Honda Civic Type R (FK8 / FL5)

Plastic coolant tanks are known to fail after repeated heat cycling, and this Radium Engineering kit replaces the factory tank on the Honda Civic Type R FK8 and FL5 with a 2-piece CNC-machined billet aluminium unit, anodised black for longevity (SKU 20-0827). Aluminium also transfers heat better than plastic and is tough enough for racing use.

Internal volume matches the OEM tank so system capacity is unchanged. Two internal chambers with cross-over passages top and bottom, plus an internal swirl feature, help de-aerate the cooling system.

Note: Direct replacement with no permanent modifications: a dedicated bracket bolts to existing threaded holes and Radium adapter fittings connect to the factory coolant lines. The OEM Honda 1.3 bar cap can be reused, or upgraded to a Radium Type-A cap (sold separately). Installation by a professional is recommended.
