Alcon Rear Big Brake Kit - Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ (ZN8 / ZD8)

This Alcon rear big brake kit is built for the second-generation Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ (ZN8 / ZD8). It pairs an Alcon 4-piston caliper with a 2-piece rotor on a vehicle-specific billet hat and bracket, giving the rear axle more thermal capacity and less unsprung weight, and it helps keep the brake balance right once the front brakes have been upgraded. It suits fast road cars, track days and motorsport, and pairs with our Alcon 86 / GR86 / BRZ front kit.

Choose your caliper

• CAR49 "TA4+": 4-piston caliper with dust seals for road and track. 343x28mm or 355x28mm rotors.
• CAR36 "Motorsport": 4-piston caliper with a bolted 2-piece body and no dust boots, for track use. 343x28mm or 355x28mm rotors.

Then pick your rotor size. All sizes come with Alcon rotors.

Replacement rotor rings: when the rotor rings wear out, use our Rotor Ring Finder to find the right replacement.

Brake fluid: bleed the new system with Alcon PRO-600 for road and track days, or PRO-660 for racing.

Note: The included pads are basic street pads for road use only, so fit a track compound before track days. This is a rear kit, usually fitted alongside a front big brake kit. It keeps the factory handbrake. Check wheel clearance: 355mm rotors need 18" wheels. Kits are made to order. Installation by a professional is recommended.
