Alcon Front Big Brake Kit - Mini Cooper S / JCW (F56 / F57)

This Alcon front big brake kit is built for the Mini Cooper S and John Cooper Works (F56 / F57). It pairs an Alcon 4-piston caliper with a 2-piece rotor on a vehicle-specific billet hat and bracket, giving more thermal capacity, less unsprung weight and a firmer, more consistent pedal than the factory brakes. It suits fast road cars, track days and motorsport, and we can help put together a package that is Group 3E compliant for Production Car Australia.

Choose your caliper

• CAR98 "Mono4": monobloc 4-piston caliper with staggered pistons and pin-mounted pads, for fast road cars and track days. 343x28mm or 355x28mm rotors.
• CAR49 "TA4+": 4-piston caliper with high-temperature dust seals for road and track days. 355x28mm rotors.
• CRB343: 4-piston competition caliper from Alcon's rally and touring car range, with anti-knockback springs and hard stainless wear plates. No dust seals, so it suits track and competition use. 343x28mm rotors.

Then pick your rotor size and brand. Alcon and Paragon rotors are offered on every size.

Replacement rotor rings: when the rotor rings wear out, use our Rotor Ring Finder to find the right replacement.

Brake fluid: bleed the new system with Alcon PRO-600 for road and track days, or PRO-660 for racing.

Note: The included pads are basic street pads for road use only, so fit a track compound before track days. Check wheel clearance for the 355mm rotor. Kits are made to order. Installation by a professional is recommended.
