ACUITY K-Series Transmission Select Springs - Honda Civic Type R (EP3 / FN2 / FD2) / Integra (DC5)

The ACUITY K-Series Transmission Performance Select Springs replace Honda’s first-second and fifth-sixth select springs inside the gearbox. These springs help return the shifter to the centre of the gate in neutral, so uprating them changes how the shift feels.

ACUITY uses thicker wire and more preload to raise centring force by about 50%. The shifter snaps back to centre more quickly and decisively, for a sportier, more precise feel across the gate. The springs are black-oxide coated to hold oil better.

They suit most K-series manual gearboxes, including those in the DC5 Integra Type R, EP3, FN2 and FD2 Civic Type R and the manual Accord Euro (CL9 and CU2), as well as K-swaps using these gearboxes.

Note: Manual K-series gearboxes only. Does not suit the K20C gearbox in the FK8 and FL5 Civic Type R. Installation by a professional is recommended.
