NRG Gen 2.5 Quick Release Universal Black / Carbon Fibre

NRG Gen 2.5 Quick Release - Universal - Black / Carbon Fibre

The NRG Gen 2.5 quick release lets you take the steering wheel off in seconds, for security, easier entry and exit, or a cleaner cabin on track days. It builds on NRG's Gen 2.0 unit with paddle extensions that give more leverage on the release collar, and a self-locking design so the wheel can't come off by accident. Raised sections inside stop the hub being scratched or stretched as the wheel goes on and off. This version is black anodised 6061 aluminium with a carbon fibre ring.

It is universal: it suits steering wheels on the 6x70mm and 6x74mm bolt patterns, and fits between your wheel and an NRG short hub for your car.

Note: NRG designs its products for off-road and motorsport use. Fitting an aftermarket wheel and hub removes the factory airbag, so check your state's rules for road use. A car-specific hub (sold separately) is needed. Installation by a professional is recommended.
