COBB Front Mount Intercooler Kit - Subaru WRX STI (VA) - 2015-2017

The factory top mount intercooler on the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX STI (VA) heat soaks easily, which raises intake temperatures and costs power. This COBB kit replaces it with a front mount 610 x 279 x 102mm (24" x 11" x 4") bar and plate core and 64mm (2.5") mandrel-bent aluminium piping, for cooler charge air and more consistent power. A BPV adapter plate lets you run the factory bypass valve, a COBB XLE bypass valve or any valve with factory-style fitment, and the cold pipe has a built-in IAT sensor bung for an easy speed density conversion.

Two core finishes are available: black or silver. The piping is wrinkle black powder coat with either core.

Note: Fits the 2015-2017 WRX STI (VA) only. Designed to work with the COBB SF intake and airbox; COBB can't confirm fit with other intakes. A tune is required: COBB says a custom tune or a matching Stage Power Package map is needed. The bumper cover needs no cutting, but the under tray needs minor trimming. Installation by a professional is recommended.
