COBB AMS Front Mount Intercooler - Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk7/Mk7.5) / Golf R (Mk7/Mk7.5) / Audi S3 (8V)

This AMS Performance intercooler, sold through COBB, is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory front mount intercooler on the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R (Mk7 and Mk7.5) and the Audi S3 and A3 quattro (8V). Its tube and fin core runs 22 fins per inch, with formed and louvred fins inside and out for smooth flow and a large heat transfer area. The core has over 64% more volume and is 67% thicker than the factory unit, helping keep intake temperatures down on the track or on a twisty road. It mounts on the factory points using purpose-built cast aluminium end tanks.

Note: AMS has only confirmed fit with the factory radiator. Installation by a professional is recommended.
