COBB 4 Bar MAP Sensor Kit $455.00

COBB 4 Bar MAP Sensor Kit - Subaru WRX STI (VA) / Impreza WRX STI (GR/GV) / Impreza WRX/STI (GD/GG) - Cast Manifold

Most turbo Subarus come with a 2.5 or 3 bar MAP sensor, which reads accurately only up to about 148 kPa (21.5 psi) or 199 kPa (28.8 psi) of boost. This COBB kit fits a 4 bar sensor for accurate measurement and control at higher boost on cast intake manifold cars: the 2002-2007 Impreza WRX, 2004-2007 and 2008-2014 Impreza WRX STI, 2015-2021 WRX STI and 2004-2008 Forester XT. It pairs a stainless-bodied sensor on flying leads with an OEM-quality plug-and-play connector, and a billet aluminium adapter that bolts into the factory sensor position on the throttle body.

Note: A custom tune is required. For cast intake manifold cars only (a separate COBB kit suits plastic manifold cars). Installation by a professional is recommended.

Features

  • Measures up to 4 bar (about 400 kPa absolute)
  • Total error band under 1% of full scale (±4 kPa / ±0.6 psi)
  • Response time under 1ms
  • Plug-and-play OEM-quality connector on flying leads
  • Black anodised billet aluminium adapter with 1/8" NPT thread and o-ring
  • Keeps the factory sensor fault (DTC) detection
