AWE Exhaust Suite – Porsche 718 Boxster / Cayman (982)

AWE's exhaust range for the 718 Boxster and Cayman is a direct bolt-on, straight-through design in mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel, with dual 102mm (4") centre tips. AWE measured up to 7.1 kW (9.5 hp) at 7200 rpm and 8.1 Nm (6 ft-lb) from 4370 rpm at the crank, and every version is lighter than stock.

Choose your version and tip finish (chrome silver or diamond black). SwitchPath (PSE-equipped cars only) has a tuned driver-side muffler and a valved passenger-side section, so the PSE button still switches between refined and aggressive; saves 1.1 kg (2.5 lb). Touring Edition uses two bullet-style mufflers each side for a refined but aggressive tone without drone; saves 2.9 kg (6.5 lb). Track Edition runs straight pipes both sides for a fully unfiltered note that gets rowdy in the mid-range; saves 4.8 kg (10.5 lb). The conversion kits swap between Touring and Track Edition and need the matching AWE exhaust already fitted.

Note: SwitchPath only suits cars with the Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) option. On PSE cars, Track and Touring Editions cap the factory valve vacuum line with the supplied fittings. Some cars without mounting holes in the transmission plate need holes drilled at the marked dimples. Installation by a professional is recommended.
