AWE Exhaust Suite – Hyundai i30 Sedan N (CN7)

The AWE Exhaust Suite for the Hyundai i30 Sedan N (CN7), sold in the US as the Elantra N, is a straight-through cat-back built mainly from 76mm (3") stainless steel. It has a 76mm (3") outlet on one side and a 64mm (2.5") outlet with a tuned resonator on the other. AWE measured small gains of up to 0.7 kW (1 hp) and 3 Nm (2 ft-lb) at the wheels. The main change is the sound.

Overview – AWE exhausts for the Hyundai CN7 i30 Sedan N (Elantra N)

Choose SwitchPath™ or Track Edition, each with Chrome Silver or Diamond Black dual 127mm (5") double-walled slash-cut tips. SwitchPath keeps the factory valve: the factory valve motor moves across to the AWE system and still follows the ECU's throttle, rpm and drive-mode commands, so it is quiet with the valve shut and loud in N mode. The Track Edition has no valve, so it is loud all the time.

Note: SwitchPath reuses the factory valve motor. The Track Edition includes an electronic valve simulator that plugs into the factory wiring to keep the ECU happy. AWE warns the Track Edition may be too loud for many drivers. Tip outlets and tips are adjustable to sit correctly in the valance. Installation by a professional is recommended.
