AWE Exhaust Suite – Chevrolet Corvette Stingray/E-Ray (C8)

AWE's exhaust suite for the C8 Corvette is a valveless, asymmetric cat-back built from 76mm (3") CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with a 1.65mm (0.065") wall. The asymmetric layout keeps bends to a minimum, and a crossover fed from the top and bottom gives the LT2 V8 a full, rich note at idle and under load. Internally lined 203mm (8") flex sections isolate engine movement. AWE measured gains of up to 14 kW (19 hp) and 20 Nm (15 ft-lb) at the wheels on its dyno.

Touring Edition uses AWE's 180 Technology resonators to cancel drone at highway speed and smooth out the change in cabin tone between V4 and V8 modes, all without valves. It saves 14 kg (31 lb) over stock. Track Edition swaps those resonators for straight sections: it is lighter, saving 18 kg (39 lb), and much louder, especially on mid-range acceleration, on deceleration and in V4 mode. Both come with quad 114mm (4.5") double-walled slash-cut tips in chrome silver or diamond black. The conversion kits swap the rear sections between editions later: Track-to-Touring adds the 180 Technology resonators, and Touring-to-Track replaces them with straight sections.

Note: The conversion kits are rear sections only and require the matching AWE exhaust already fitted: an AWE Track Edition for the Track-to-Touring kit, or an AWE Touring Edition for the Touring-to-Track kit. The full systems include valve simulators for the factory AFM and NPP valve connections. Cars without NPP use only one pair. Installation by a professional is recommended.
