AWE Exhaust Suite – BMW M3 (F80) / M4 (F82/F83)

AWE's second-generation cat-back for the S55-powered M3 and M4 starts after the secondary catalysts and runs 76mm (3") and 64mm (2.5") T304L stainless steel. A precision X-pipe smooths out the S55's rasp, and a choice of rear section sets the character. AWE measured up to 8.9 kW (12 hp) and 21.7 Nm (16 ft-lb) at the wheels on its dyno.

AWE SwitchPath Gen2 exhaust installed on an F80 M3

Two versions are offered, each with quad 102mm (4") tips in chrome silver or diamond black. SwitchPath is valved: it uses the factory valve motors and keeps the M button and drive-mode control, close to stock at a cruise with the valves shut and loud with them open. Track Edition drops the valved muffler for a constant "valves open" sound, saves 10.2 kg (22.5 lb), and comes with AWE machined valve simulators for the factory valve motors.

Note: One design suits both OPF (Euro-spec) and non-OPF cars; AWE confirms 2015–2020 build years. All catalysts stay in place. Fitting requires cutting the factory pipes at the points marked in AWE's guide. Track Edition is loud, especially in Sport+. Installation by a professional is recommended.
