AWE Touring Edition Exhaust Suite – BMW M240i / M235i (F22)
The AWE Exhaust Suite for the BMW F22 M240i and M235i coupe is built around the Touring Edition axle-back, AWE's road-focused system with its patented 180 Technology resonator to cancel cabin drone while giving a deeper, more refined note. The axle-back is a straight-through, non-baffled design in CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with 1.65mm (0.065") wall. AWE measured gains of up to 7 kW (9 hp) and 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) at the crank on the M240i and 6 kW (8 hp) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) on the M235i.

AWE Touring Edition exhaust and Performance Mid Pipe on BMW M235i, 335i and 435i
Touring Edition axle-back comes with two double-walled, individually adjustable tips: choose 90mm (3.5") or 102mm (4"), in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The Performance Mid Pipe is a separate, model-specific part (one for the M235i, one for the M240i). It replaces the factory resonated centre section with non-resonated 76mm (3") straight-through stainless tubing for a more aggressive sound.
Note: Coupe only; does not fit convertible models. The M240i needs the Performance Mid Pipe and the Touring Edition axle-back fitted together. The mid pipe is only confirmed by AWE to fit with the AWE Touring Edition axle-back, not the stock rear muffler or other axle-backs. Order the mid pipe that matches your model. Installation by a professional is recommended.
