AWE Exhaust Suite – Audi RS3 Sedan (8Y)

The AWE Exhaust Suite for the Audi RS3 Sedan (8Y) is a straight-through cat-back for the 2.5L five-cylinder, built mainly from 76mm (3") stainless steel. It has a 76mm (3") outlet on one side and a 64mm (2.5") outlet with a tuned resonator on the other. AWE measured up to 6.7 kW (9 hp) and 15 Nm (11 ft-lb) at the wheels.

Overview – AWE exhausts for the Audi 8Y RS3

Four options are available. SwitchPath™ keeps the factory valve behaviour, with a plug-and-play valve assembly that follows the ECU and Drive Select. It is quiet with the valve closed and loud in Dynamic mode, and saves 13.8 kg (30.5 lb) over stock. The Track Edition removes the valve, so it is loud all the time, and saves 17.7 kg (39 lb). The Track-to-SwitchPath and SwitchPath-to-Track conversion kits let you change an AWE system you already own from one version to the other.

Note: SwitchPath needs no transfer of the factory valve actuator. AWE valve simulator brackets are included: one with SwitchPath, two with Track Edition. The conversion kits require the matching AWE RS3 exhaust already fitted. AWE warns the Track Edition may be too loud for many drivers. Installation by a professional is recommended.
