ACUITY Low Preload Shifter Centering Spring - Honda Civic Type R (FL5)

The ACUITY Low Preload Shifter Centering Spring is a lighter alternative to the spring supplied in ACUITY's 4-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter for the FL5 Civic Type R. It has about 15% less preload, so the shifter still returns to centre on its own, but it takes less effort to reach the outer gates for first, second, fifth, sixth and reverse.

The spring is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and has rubber sleeves on the legs to keep shifts quiet. If you want firmer centering instead, ACUITY's High Preload spring (1981-S03) has about 15% more preload than standard.

Note: Fits only the ACUITY 4-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter (1981-RHD); not compatible with the factory FL5 shifter. Installation by a professional is recommended.
