2-Piece Rotors

Paragon's flagship product. Two-piece construction uses a cast iron friction ring bolted to a billet aluminium centre hat, reducing unsprung and rotating weight compared to a one-piece OEM rotor by up to 25%. The aluminium hat also acts as a thermal insulator, keeping heat in the friction surface and out of the wheel bearing. Paragon 2-piece rotors are direct bolt-on replacements for the factory caliper — no bracket changes required. Available for WRX/STI, BRZ/86/GR86, Civic Type R FK8/FL5, BMW F80/F82/G80/G82 M3/M4, Porsche 911/Cayman/Boxster, Mustang, Tesla Model 3/Y, Nissan Z/370Z/350Z, Mercedes-AMG, Audi RS, Evo X and more.

Big Brake Kits (BBK)

Paragon manufactures five core big brake kit platforms:

• PA015 / PA035 — 6-piston forged monoblock front calipers. The flagship front BBK. Suits 355mm–380mm rotors.
• PA036 — 6-piston forged front caliper for BMW M Performance and Toyota GR Supra applications.
• PA055 — 4-piston forged monoblock front caliper. Lighter and more compact than the PA015 for smaller wheel fitments (17"+).
• PA025 — 4-piston forged rear caliper. Designed specifically as a rear upgrade to balance front BBK setups.
• Paragon × Alcon CAR97 / CAR98 — Collaboration kits using Alcon's renowned CAR97 6-piston front and CAR98 4-piston rear calipers with Paragon rotors and brackets. Motorsport-grade hardware at a more accessible price than the full Alcon competition range.

Brake Pads

Paragon supplies pads for their own calipers (PA015/PA035, PA055, PA025) plus fitments for AP Racing, Alcon, Brembo and StopTech aftermarket calipers. OEM pad fitments cover most popular performance cars — Audi, BMW, Honda/Acura, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, Subaru, Toyota, Tesla and more.

Titanium Pad Shims

Thermal management for hard-driven cars. Titanium shims sit between the pad backing plate and the caliper piston, reducing heat transfer into the brake fluid by as much as 60°C in extended track use. Critical on cars where fluid boil is the failure mode before pad fade — particularly BMW, Porsche, Tesla and Honda/Acura track cars.

Replacement Rotor Rings

Paragon manufactures direct-replacement friction rings for AP Racing, Alcon, Brembo, DBA, Endless, PFC and StopTech 2-piece rotors. A full size range from 277mm up to 410mm in thicknesses from 9mm to 38mm. If you're running an aftermarket 2-piece rotor setup, Paragon replacement rings are often half the price of OEM-brand replacements with equivalent metallurgy.

Accessories & Hardware

Floating hardware (H-Bobbin, D-Bobbin, T-Bobbin, S-Bobbin), fixed-hat non-floating hardware, AP Racing anti-rattle pad retainer kits, anti-squeal shims and caliper rebuild kits. Everything needed to service or rebuild an aftermarket 2-piece rotor or big brake kit setup.

Street-Driven Performance Car — Unsprung Weight Reduction

If your car has capable OEM brakes (e.g. Brembo 4-pot front on an STI, FK8 Civic Type R, Mustang GT, BMW M Sport) and you want to reduce unsprung and rotating mass without changing caliper fitment, Paragon 2-piece rotors are the right upgrade. Expect weight savings of 3–4kg per corner depending on the application, which is measurable in steering response and in acceleration/braking — unsprung weight is worth roughly twice as much as sprung weight in terms of dynamic effect.

Track Day Car — Thermal Capacity Upgrade

For owners doing regular track days who are experiencing fade, rotor cracking, or brake fluid boil, the decision tree is:

• Still on OEM calipers? — Start with Paragon 2-piece rotors + a track-compound pad (DIXCEL Z, ES, or RE/Specom compound). This often solves thermal issues without BBK cost.
• Pushing OEM calipers to their limit? — Upgrade to a Paragon PA055 4-piston or PA015/PA035 6-piston BBK. The increased pad area and rotor diameter lower operating temperatures directly.
• Boiling fluid before fading pads? — Add Paragon titanium pad shims to your existing setup. They insulate the caliper pistons from pad heat and can raise the effective working temperature of your brake fluid significantly.

Time Attack / Club Racing — Motorsport-Grade Upgrade

For the sharp end of the grid, the Paragon × Alcon CAR97 + CAR98 front and rear BBK packages use the same Alcon caliper families run in TCR, GT4 and British GT competition, with Paragon 2-piece rotors engineered for the spec. Combine with Paragon replacement rings on a maintenance schedule and the running cost over a season is significantly lower than OEM Alcon or AP Racing service parts.

Paragon isn't a brand that styled itself for motorsport — it's a brand that came out of it. Paragon brake hardware is homologated and used on:

• TCR — Honda Civic TCR (H70), Hyundai Elantra N TCR, VW Golf GTI TCR, Audi RS3 LMS TCR, Cupra TCR
• GT4 — Audi R8 LMS GT4, BMW M4 GT4, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, Ginetta G55 GT4, KTM X-BOW GT4
• One-Make Cup Cars — Porsche 991 GT3 Cup, BMW M235i/M240i Racing Cup, Ginetta G56 GTA

Because the street and club-racer product lines use the same caliper bodies, piston designs and pad compounds as the race kit (in many cases with the same Paragon part numbers), the engineering cascades directly from the grid to the customer car. This is why Paragon rotors tolerate the thermal cycling that cheaper cast rotors can't — they were developed against TCR-level braking loads before they ever reached the retail catalogue.

Subaru WRX & STI

2-piece front and rear rotors for 02-07 WRX (GDA/GGA), 04-17 STI (GDB/GRF/GVF/VAB) with 4-pot Brembos, 18+ STI (VAB/VAF) with 6-pot Brembos, 22+ WRX (VB), plus Spec-C Type RA-R. PA055 and PA015 front big brake kits, PA025 rear big brake kits. Pair with DIXCEL pads for a complete brake package.

Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 / GR86

2-piece rotors, PA055 front BBK, PA025 rear BBK. The BRZ/86/GR86 is one of the most popular track platforms in Australia and the Paragon range covers everything from a mild street upgrade to a full front-and-rear BBK package.

Honda Civic Type R (FK8 & FL5)

2-piece front and rear rotors. The FK8's known OEM rotor grooving issue is solved permanently by a Paragon 2-piece setup — the replaceable friction ring means you only replace the ring, not the whole rotor, at service intervals.

BMW M2 / M3 / M4

2-piece rotors for M2 F87, M3 F80, M4 F82/F83, M2 G87, M3 G80, M4 G82/G83, and the legendary M3 E90/E92/E93. Also covers M5 F90, M8, M850i and M Performance/M Sport fitments. Titanium pad shims are particularly valued on the F80/G80 platform where brake fluid boil is a common track-day failure.

Porsche

2-piece rotors for 911 992, 991.1, 991.2, 997, 996, 718 Boxster/Cayman, 981, 987, 971 Panamera, Macan and Cayenne. Motorsport-grade options including 991 GT3 Cup and 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport-spec rotors.

Tesla Model 3 & Model Y

Paragon was one of the first brake specialists to develop 2-piece rotors specifically for Tesla's weight and regen-braking usage pattern. Covers Model 3 RWD/AWD, Model 3 Performance, Model Y AWD, Model Y Performance, Model S and Model X — plus a dedicated Master Cylinder Brace for the Model 3.

Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette

American muscle is brutal on brakes — high kerb weights, strong torque, and owners who use them hard. Paragon 2-piece rotors and big brake kits for the Ford Mustang S550 (2015-2023) and S650 (2024+), both officially sold in Australia with factory right-hand drive. Also supports the 6th Generation Chevrolet Camaro 2SS and supercharged ZL1 — around 1,550 HSV-converted RHD cars reached Australian driveways between 2018 and 2020 before the conversion program ended. For Chevrolet Corvette owners, Paragon manufactures 2-piece rotors for the C8 Z06, now officially imported into Australia through GMSV.
