The aFe POWER line is organised into tiers based on housing design, materials and intended use.

Takeda: aFe POWER's sport-compact and import-focused line. Available as a sealed Takeda Momentum system (enclosed housing, shielded filter, refined look) or an open-element Takeda Stage-2 system for a more aggressive induction note. Most of the Hyundai N and Veloster N stock sits here, alongside Takeda turbo inlet pipes.

Momentum GT and Momentum HD: one-piece sealed housings that draw cooler air and shield the filter from engine heat. Momentum GT covers petrol applications such as the Patrol Y62, Grand Cherokee SRT and Ram HEMI models; Momentum HD covers heavy-duty diesels including the 6.7L Cummins and 3.0L EcoDiesel.

Magnum FORCE Stage-2: the broader open-element line-up, including Si and XP variants, used across Jeep Wrangler, Ram, Chrysler, BMW, Porsche, Chevrolet and Volkswagen applications.

Quantum: high-flow systems for heavy-duty diesel platforms such as the Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins.

BladeRunner charge pipes: aluminium hot-side charge pipes, such as the Kona N (OS) 2.0L turbo unit, that replace factory plumbing downstream of the turbo.

Installation & What You'll Need

aFe POWER intakes are engineered around the factory mounting points and original sensors, so most kits install with basic hand tools and no cutting. Typical requirements include a socket set, screwdrivers or nut drivers for hose clamps, and enough room to remove the factory airbox and intake plumbing. Sealed Momentum and Takeda Momentum housings retain an enclosed, factory-style look under the bonnet, while open-element Stage-2 systems trade some heat shielding for a more aggressive induction note. Clear sight windows on many kits allow the filter to be inspected without removing parts.

Installation by a qualified professional workshop is recommended, particularly on turbocharged platforms where MAF sensor positioning, charge pipe clamps and turbo inlet connections must be correct.

Will an aFe POWER intake trigger a check engine light?

Does an aFe POWER intake need a tune on the Kia Stinger GT 3.3T?

A Takeda Momentum intake for the Stinger GT (CK) 3.3L twin-turbo V6 is designed to work with the factory ECU calibration. If you are combining it with other airflow changes such as a downpipe, a tune is worth considering. Check the product page for any specific tuning notes.
