Thermo fans are electric fans that pull or push air through your radiator to manage engine coolant temperature, independent of engine speed. This range features SPAL fans from compact 4in units up to the 19in 850W BEAST 3700 brushless fan. It also covers the wiring harnesses, temperature control sensors and mounting hardware needed to complete the setup. Explore more cooling parts in our Cooling category.

Brushless fans: SPAL brushless fans in 10in to 19in sizes, rated at 300W, 500W or 850W, in flush mount and drop-in styles, each supplied with a jumper harness.
High performance and high output fans: SPAL fans from 4in to 16in in push and pull versions, including straight, curved and paddle blade options and a 12in dual fan.
Temperature control sensors: SPAL brushless fan variable temperature control sensors in 60-74°C, 74-85°C, 79-91°C and 88-102°C ranges.
Wiring: fan wiring harness with relay, jumper harnesses (including Metri-Pack connector versions) and brushless fan harness adapters.
Mounting hardware: fan mounting brackets, bracket kits, strap bracket mounts, mounting pins and the VA18 fan shroud gasket.
Fan size: measure your radiator core and the available space between the radiator and the engine or bumper. Fans in this range run from 4in up to 19in.
Push or pull: a pull fan mounts on the engine side of the radiator and draws air through the core. A push fan mounts on the front side and blows air through it. Choose the version that suits where your fan will sit.
Airflow and power: SPAL listings show rated airflow in CFM for high performance fans and wattage (300W, 500W or 850W) for brushless fans. Compare these against your engine's cooling needs.
Mounting style: brushless fans come in flush mount and drop-in versions. Check which suits your radiator and shroud.
Blade type: some 16in SPAL fans are offered with straight, curved or paddle blades.
Control: brushless fans can be paired with a SPAL variable temperature control sensor. Choose the temperature range that suits your engine.
Always confirm dimensions and specifications against the manufacturer's information before ordering.
Installation & What You'll Need
A complete thermo fan setup usually needs the fan, a suitable wiring harness or relay harness, mounting hardware, and a temperature sensor or switch to control it. SPAL brushless fans are supplied with a jumper harness. Harness adapters, extra jumper harnesses, brackets, strap mounts, mounting pins and the VA18 shroud gasket are available separately in this collection.
Installation by a professional is recommended, as thermo fans involve both electrical wiring and changes to your cooling system.
