Fuel Surge Tanks & Pump Hangers

Radium's Fuel Surge Tank (FST) technology provides a dedicated reservoir of fuel that stays full at all times, preventing the lean-out conditions caused by fuel slosh in factory tanks under hard cornering, braking, and acceleration. For in-tank upgrades, Radium's fuel pump hangers support single or dual pump configurations with billet construction and provisions for high-flow pumps. Catch Cans & Air Oil Separators

Radium's Fluid Lock catch cans and Air Oil Separator (AOS) systems manage crankcase blow-by — the oil vapour and moisture that escapes past piston rings and contaminates your intake tract. This is critical on direct-injection turbo engines like the FA20/FA24 (WRX), K20C1 (Civic Type R), and G16E-GTS (GR Yaris) where blow-by causes carbon buildup on intake valves. High-Flow Fuel Rails & Plumbing

Radium's CNC-machined fuel rails are built from extruded 6063 aluminium with a 17.5mm internal bore — significantly larger than factory rails — to support high-horsepower fuel demands. Multiple fitments are available for Subaru EJ and FA engines, Nissan RB26, SR20, and VQ platforms, Toyota G16E-GTS (GR Yaris/GR Corolla), Mitsubishi Evo, Ford Barra, and Toyota 1JZ/2JZ. Complete fuel rail plumbing kits provide all the PTFE hose, fittings, filtration, and adapters needed for a full return-style fuel system conversion.

Fuel Vent & Charcoal Canisters

For builds running aftermarket fuel cells, surge tanks, or deleted EVAP systems, Radium's fuel vent charcoal canister eliminates fuel vapour before it escapes to atmosphere. CNC machined from 6061 aluminium with vibratory-packed activated carbon, Radium's testing showed a reduction from over 10,000 ppm to below 50 ppm — effectively zero measurable vapour with zero restriction to the vent system. Fuel Cells, Regulators & Accessories

Radium's RA-Series fuel cells are FIA FT3 and SFI 28.1 certified with seamless polymer bladders, explosion-suppressing anti-slosh foam, and powder-coated aluminium enclosures — available from 6 to 22 gallons for road racing, drifting, rally, and endurance applications. The RA-Series fuel pressure regulators provide tool-less adjustment with billet construction, and fuel pulse dampers smooth out pressure waves in high-flow systems for cleaner idle and part-throttle drivability. All components are compatible with petrol, E85, ethanol, methanol, and diesel.

What is the difference between a catch can and an AOS?

A catch can collects oil and moisture in a reservoir that you drain manually. An Air Oil Separator (AOS) filters the vapour and automatically returns the oil to the engine's oil pan. Why do I need a fuel surge tank for track use?

Under high G-loads, fuel in the main tank moves away from the pickup, causing momentary pressure drops that can lead to lean conditions and engine damage. A Radium surge tank stays full at all times, providing a constant fuel supply regardless of how much fuel is sloshing in the main tank. Our surge tank guide explains the full system in detail.

Are Radium products compatible with E85?

Yes. All Radium Engineering fuel system components — rails, regulators, hangers, surge tanks, filters, and plumbing — use materials compatible with petrol, E85, ethanol, methanol, and all other common fuels. This includes stainless steel internals, PTFE hose, and FKM O-rings throughout.
