Radium Engineering FPD-XR Extended Range Fuel Pulse Dampener - Universal - 3/8" NPT

Every time a fuel injector opens and closes, it sends a pressure pulse through the fuel rail. Left unchecked, these pulses cause unstable fuel pressure, idle surge, and erratic lean spikes that are notoriously difficult to tune out. Radium Engineering developed the FPD-XR to solve exactly this — the internal diaphragm absorbs oscillating pressure pulses and stabilises fuel rail pressure across the entire RPM range. The XR variant handles base static fuel pressures between 276 and 724 kPa (40–105 psi), making it suitable for high-pressure and boosted applications where the standard FPD-R falls short.

This listing covers the Radium FPD-XR in 3/8" NPT thread configuration. This is a universal fitment dampener suitable for any vehicle where base static fuel pressure falls within the 276–724 kPa (40–105 psi) range. A vacuum/boost reference line is optional on this XR variant — it is not required as long as maximum dynamic fuel pressure does not exceed 724 kPa (105 psi). The 3/8" NPT version seals via tapered pipe threads. An 8AN ORB version is also available separately.

Important: The pressure ranges stated refer to base static fuel pressure only — measured with the fuel pump running and no vacuum line connected to the regulator. Dynamic pressure created by a rising-rate fuel pressure regulator beyond this range is acceptable, provided the base static pressure is set within the specified window. If your base static fuel pressure exceeds 724 kPa (105 psi), this dampener is not suitable for your application.
