This listing covers the Radium Engineering 20-0099-FL Dual PCV/Crankcase Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit, designed to suit the Honda S2000 AP1 (1999–2004) and Honda S2000 AP2 (2005–2009). This kit combines both the 20-0097 PCV Catch Can and the 20-0098 Crankcase Catch Can into one complete solution. Individual kits are also available separately — see the part numbers section below.

Note: For turbocharged or supercharged S2000 builds, the crankcase catch can (20-0098) is especially critical — oil accumulation in the intercooler significantly reduces heat exchange efficiency. Both cans are pressure-sealed, so no check valve is required when connecting to the intake manifold.

How It Works

The two catch cans target different stages of crankcase breathing. The PCV Catch Can (20-0097) sits inline with the 3/8" PCV valve, intercepting oil vapour and sludge that would otherwise be drawn into the intake manifold under idle, light cruise, and deceleration. The Crankcase Catch Can (20-0098) runs inline with the 1/2" valve cover breather port, catching blow-by vapours and unspent fuel that would otherwise enter the intake pipe under wide-open-throttle conditions. Both operate as closed-loop systems — no venting to atmosphere — so clean, filtered air is returned to the engine to maintain negative crankcase pressure.
