Turbosmart vIWG Vacuum Wastegate Actuator - BMW 125i / 228i / 328i / 428i (F20 / F22 / F30 / F32) - N20 6inHg
The Turbosmart vIWG is an upgraded vacuum-operated wastegate actuator for the factory turbocharger on BMW's N20 four-cylinder turbo engine, as fitted to models including the 125i (F20), 228i (F22), 328i (F30) and 428i (F32). Its larger effective diaphragm area and revised springs give a higher working ratio than the factory actuator, so peak boost comes in earlier and holds further into the rev range. It is a bolt-on fit for engines with the factory vacuum-operated actuator.
Note: Suits N20 engines (N20A20 / N20B20) fitted with the factory vacuum (pneumatic) wastegate actuator only - not suitable for engines with an electronic wastegate actuator. Please confirm your engine and actuator before ordering. Tuning and recalibration is recommended for best results when running a higher base pressure than factory. Installation by a professional is recommended.
