Turbosmart pSG50V Vacuum StraightGate - 50mm External Wastegate - Vacuum Actuation

The Turbosmart pSG50V is a 50mm zero-offset butterfly-style external wastegate with a vacuum-based Gen-V actuator. The zero-offset butterfly pivots centrally, so exhaust drive pressure acts equally on both halves and the valve is self-balancing, and the straight-through path flows more than a poppet valve that has to turn the gas 90 degrees. Vacuum-based control allows strategies such as holding the gate fully open at cold start, and can suit some factory boost control systems originally used with vacuum-operated internal wastegate actuators.

Note: Pre-fitted with 6 inHg springs. The actuator supports single or twin port control for simple connection or boost assist. Tuning is required. Installation by a professional is recommended.
